Your hire period will last for the selected dates and will be collected the day after hire end, for example, if your hire period is from the 11/06/24 - 25/06/24, it will be collected on 26/06/24. We are not able to provide a specific time for collection but the courier will contact you on the day of collection with a morning or afternoon slot for collection.
We do ask that on the day of collection (the day after hire end) someone is available at the given address between 9 am and 5 pm.
The Cryo Pro XL unit must be drained before collection.
The Wraps chosen will be kept by the customer and can be cooled in the fridge to be used as a cold wrap after the unit has been collected.
The Cryo Pro XL must be returned with the XL Control Unit, dual hose, plug, drain gadget and rental folder.

In 2019, MAXM completed a single-blinded, randomised controlled trial comparing the MAXM rehabilitation program to traditional post TKA hospital care:

At the end of the hire period we will make contact with you to arrange collection of the device or to extend the hire period. You also have the option to purchase the device at the end of your rental period where the total amount you have paid will be deducted from the purchase price. This is arranged on the last day of hire.
Your hire period will last for the selected dates and will be collected the day after hire end, for example, if your hire period is from the 11/06/24 - 25/06/24, it will be collected on 26/06/24. We are not able to provide a specific time for collection but the courier will contact you on the day of collection with a morning or afternoon slot for collection.
We do ask that on the day of collection (the day after hire end) someone is available at the given address between 9 am and 5 pm.
The GripAble device and tablet must be packed away before collection.
All cables and catalogues provided in the GripAble box must also be included.
The GripAble must be returned with the device, strap hook, charging cable, tablet and rental folder.

We offer two flexible rental options to suit your recovery needs.
Our Fixed-Term Rental is ideal if you know how long you'll need the equipment, allowing you to choose your rental period in advance. Before your rental ends, we'll send you a reminder email with the option to either arrange collection or extend your rental.
If you're unsure how long your recovery will take, our Flexible Auto-Renewal Rental offers complete peace of mind. Your rental automatically renews on a weekly basis, ensuring uninterrupted access to your device. You'll receive a weekly renewal email, and when you're ready to return the equipment, simply request a collection to stop any future renewals.
How does renting work?
Simply choose the equipment you need, place your rental order, and we will arrange delivery directly to your home or chosen address. Your device will arrive ready to use, with support available throughout your rental period if you need assistance.
Yes. Our Cryo Pro is a cold compression therapy machine, often searched for as an "ice machine", available to rent with a knee wrap for post-surgery and post-replacement recovery.
Choose the wrap that matches your recovery area; knee, hip/back, shoulder, ankle or full leg. Since the Cryo Pro unit is the same across all of them, only the wrap changes. For larger areas or bilateral recovery, the Cryo Pro XL uses two wraps at once with a stronger pump. All rentals include nationwide UK delivery, collection and VAT.
The Cryo Pro starts at £150 for an initial 2-week period, then £25 per week after that. The Cryo Pro XL starts at £300 for 2 weeks, then £25 per week. Both include delivery, collection and VAT, with no separate charge for the wrap.
Yes. We recommend adding ice to the Cryo Pro along with water to help keep the water at an effective cooling temperature. If you don't have loose ice available, reusable ice blocks can also be used. The Cryo Pro requires ice, water and power to operate effectively.
No, you don't need to empty the wrap after every individual session. If you are using the Cryo Pro again later, you can leave it ready for your next treatment. However, we recommend draining the wrap and the unit when you have finished using it for the day or before transporting it.
You can use the Cryo Pro for up to 60 minutes at a time. After each session, it is recommended that you rest for at least the same amount of time before using the unit again. Always follow any specific guidance provided by your healthcare professional.
We recommend starting on a lower compression setting and adjusting based on your comfort and your healthcare professional's advice. The Cryo Pro offers Low, Medium and High compression settings, so you can gradually find the setting that feels most comfortable for you. Always follow any specific guidance provided by your clinician or surgeon.
We do not recommend using the Cryo Pro while you are asleep. The unit should be used while you are awake so you can monitor your comfort and treatment. Our guidance recommends sessions of up to 60 minutes, followed by a rest period before using the unit again. Always follow the instructions provided by your healthcare professional.

Pricing depends on the body part: Knee CPM rental starts at £200 for 2 weeks (£60/week after), while Shoulder, Ankle and Hand & Wrist CPM rental start at £300 for 2 weeks (£100/week after). All prices include nationwide UK delivery, collection and VAT.
